With Kara, the programmable ladybug, you offer your students an introduction and an insight into the way of thinking of programming. Kara lives in a simple world on the screen. It can be programmed, for example to collect cloverleaves or to find its way out of a labyrinth. Kara’s programs are created as a Finite State Machine only by using mouse buttons. Every program can be started immediately. The students are able to concentrate right from the beginning on their main task: Writing correct programs, which do exactly what they are supposed to do. This is the essence of programming!
