I am an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at National University of Singapore, and a member of the Security Research Cluster. I am broadly interested in all aspects of computer security and its intersection with formal methods and programming languages. My present research is in building secure software systems with rich interfaces to the cloud, the web and our personal devices. I got my Phd in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012. I visited Microsoft Research Redmond during the summer of 2015.
I am fortunate to work with several bright PhD students: Shruti Tople, Shweta Shinde, Loi Luu, Enrico Budianto, and Yaoqi Jia (co-advised). My research team members have spun off startups recently. Many others are pursuing graduate studies and careers in industry all over the world.
We are thankful to MoE-Singapore, NRF-Singapore, Intel and Symantec for their generous and continued support to our research!
