Creating of SoC Account

Do you have a SoC account? If not, if you are a SoC student or exchange student with SoC, you may apply to create one by your own. Read on.

If you previously were a SoC account user, please let us know at
techsvc. We maybe able to restore the data from your old account.

If you are an existing SoC account user, pls don't proceed. Let us know. We will upgrade your existing account with any additional privileges, wherever applicable.

To create your SoC Account:

1. Logon to this website using your NUSNET id and password:
   https://mysoc.nus.edu.sg/~newacct

2. Read through the user-agreement and make sure you understand the obligations.

3. If applicable, assign your own username. Your username should be between 5-8 characters and must be formed from your name
   
   You may also use your NUSNETid.
   
   Please note that your username, once chosen, shall be permanent. You will not be allowed to change it under any circumstances whatsover.

4. Type in your new password (twice).

5. Submit your application.

If the server returns with the success screen, your application is successful. Your account will be available typically within a few seconds but on busy days it may take a few minutes.
