All students who require academic advice may contact the Academic Advisors to discuss matters related to their studies and careers. In addition, the School of Computing has a voluntary mentorship scheme where interested students are paired with faculty members who are interested in mentoring students. New and existing students will be given the opportunity to indicate the faculty member that they would like as their mentor at the start of each academic year.

Mentors are able to give study advice and career advice, provide references for internships and jobs, help students read and improve their CVs, and discuss university life in general.
