SoC currently has about 300 PhD research students (some weak ones
may be down graded to MSc) and about 150 Master of Computing (by course work)
students. Most of the PhD research students are holding
full scholarship with various top-ups (total S$1500 - S$3100 per month)
in addition to the full tuition fee subsidy. SoC also provides
international conference travel grants for PhD students. Our research students
have greatly contributed to SoC research and recent world ranking data has very positive indications.
Many of our PhD graduates have taken various faculty/research/leading positions at universities and industries locally and around the world.
