Student Advisory
There are several ways for our IS undergraduates to seek advice on academic, career or other matters from the School's or Department's faculty members.
Approach Your Mentors
As an SoC student, you have been assigned a faculty member to be your mentor throughout your time with the School. We encourage you to maintain a relationship and regular contact with your mentor, and seek advice or help from him/her when needed. Your mentors will be able to provide or guide you to the right information if you need it.
Details on the mentorship programme and the list of mentors for each student are available here.
Contact The School's Academic Advisors
Several SoC faculty members act as advisors for academic matters for each batch of students. Contact information for these advisors is available here. You can contact these advisors for matters related to your undergraduate degree programme.
Meet the Career Counsellor
Ms Cammie Tan from the NUS Career Centre will be available in SoC every Wednesday to meet students for career and employment advice. Drop her an email at tancammie@nus.edu.sg to make an appointment!
Consult Our Department's Advisors
The Department of Information Systems also has a Curriculum Chair, Undergraduate Advisor and Career Development Advisor. These advisors provide leadership on our undergraduate programmes and modules, and the development of our students to prepare them for their careers. If your questions cannot be answered by your mentor or academic advisors, our department advisors will be able to help.
