
Advances in communications and computer technologies has led to the widespread adoption of Information Technology (IT) as a coordination technology. These changes are bringing about fundamental shifts in
how organizations conduct their businesses; and
what new products and services can be offered.
The Laboratory for Electronic Commerce (LEC) is a new initiative (incepted in mid-1997) which brings together multidisciplinary research in EC. We aspire to examine technological as well as socio-economic impedences to the widespread adoption of EC.
