NUS School of Computing Instructor Mr Tan Wee Kek has won the Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA) for AY 2009/2010. The award was conferred at the ATEA Award Ceremony on 4 May 2011.

In recognition to the high level of commitment and achievement of good teaching, the University gives out the award to faculty members based on teaching portfolios and peer and student feedback.

Mr Tan is with the Department of Information Systems in NUS School of Computing. Prior to winning the Annual Teaching Excellence Award, Mr Tan also won the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award for AY 2008 to 2010 as well as the Faculty Best Teaching Assistant Award for AY 2007/2008.
