NUS Computing student Sriram Sami was enlisted in August 2016 and is now the avionics lead and part of the core team. He is developing and testing an autopilot software based on an open source Ardupilot project.

CFLD-NUS Business Analytics Innovation Challenge 2017 /?id=2341:2018-cfld-ba /?id=2341:2018-cfld-ba 19 teams from NUS competed in the inaugural China Fortune Land Development (CFLD)-NUS Business Analytics Innovation Challenge 2017. Two teams from the NUS Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) programme won first and third place in the competition. In second place was a team of undergraduate Business Analytics students, the youngest contestants in the challenge.

Singapore drone frees your fingers to take photos /?id=2196:2017-xpose-drone /?id=2196:2017-xpose-drone As more people shoot pictures and videos from consumer drones, researchers in Singapore have found a way round the frustrating task of framing and taking photos while manually piloting the craft. The researchers from the National University of Singapore say their prototype, based on a Parrot Bebop quadcopter, relies mainly on a single monocular camera and works reliably even when there is no GPS signal.

CVWO unveiled their new mobile application created for Lions Befrienders Service Association, which allow volunteers to track and analyse seniors' mood and mental states during house visits. Speaker of Parliament Mr Tan Chuan-Jin was invited as guest of honour and held a dialogue session on the topic "serving the community with your diverse talents".
