Professor Ben Leong Wins Annual Teaching Excellence Award for
AY2008/2009
NUS School of Computing (SoC)
Assistant Professor Ben Leong has won the Annual Teaching Excellence
Award for 2008/2009. His award was conferred on 27 May at the Annual
Teaching Excellence Award and Outstanding Educator Award Public
Lectures 2010 Ceremony.
The Teaching Excellence Awards serve to recognise teachers who excel
in their profession and of the importance the institution accords to
teaching.
Dr Leong worked as a Senior Tutor in 2001, before being appointed as
Assistant Professor in July 2006. This is the second consecutive
award he has won since 2007/2008. Dr Leong has also won several
awards such as the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award.
