Success that goes beyond Sky-High: The FriarTuck Story

 

Potential students and other visitors touring the SoC campus may notice the SoC Incubation Centre. That is where budding technopreneurs from among our students could grow their technology into viable businesses. What visitors may not know is that a company nurtured within the Centre has provided the technology that allowed NASA to land on Mars.

FriarTuck is the SoC-nurtured company that showed its potential in space. Founded by Associate Professor Martin Henz and one of his students, the company was hosted at the SoC Incubation Centre from March 2001 till Feb 2004.
