The three teams were sent to compete in different places under
the regional tier of the contest, and all returned with results
within the top 10:
NUSSoC2, 2nd place (from 60 teams) in Phuket, 3-4 November 2009;
NUSSoC1, 10th place in (from 60 teams) Phuket, 3-4 November 2009;
NUSSoC1, 3rd place (from 55 teams) in Manila, 22-23 October 2009;
NUSSoC2, 7th place (from 67 teams) in Jakarta, 20-21 October 2009;
and
NUSS0C3, 10th place (from 67 teams) in Jakarta 20-21 October 2009.
By
winning the second spot in the Phuket competitions, NUSSoC2
qualifies for the prestigious ACM ICPC World Finals in Harbin, China
on 1-6 February 2010.
This is the second outing for the team at the ACM ICPC World Finals.
They were at the 2009 finals held in March in the Swedish capital of
Stockholm.
We wish them all the best in next year's
World Finals.
