SoC Infocomm Fest Pictorial Highlights

oC Infocomm Fest 2007 comprised three competitions and two one-day camps. It kicked off with the opening of ACM ICPC Contest Singapore 2007 on 13 December, progressed with Day 2 of the ACM ICPC Contest alongside the concurrent convening of the FLL Singapore 2007 and Algo*Mania contest on 14 December, and culminated into the official launch of the festival as a whole cum prize-giving ceremony for the contests in the evening. The festival rounded off with the SoC Infocomm Camps on 18 and 19 December.
 
We present below the pictorial highlights of the festival in order of date and component event.
 
 

 

ACM ICPC Contest Singapore 
2007: Opening Ceremony/
Day 1 (13 Dec)

SoC Infocomm Fest 2007 kicks off with a Lion Dance performance by NUS Centre of Arts at the opening ceremony of ACM ICPC Contest Singapore 2007, the first component contest of the festival.

Learning and applying basic concepts in search and knowledge representation, and even in sub-areas of artificial intelligence, have their appeal to all ages: A young contestant fully savours each moment of hands-on fun at the contest…
