CALL FOR POSTER:

SCOPE:

Posters reporting on original research (both theoretical and experimental) or state-of-the-art surveys on regulary genomic are currently being sought. Topics include all aspects of regulation, for example, modeling and recognition of regulatory elements, identification and modeling of cis-regulatory regions, modeling the structure and function of the regulatory region, and comparative genomics of regulation.

DEADLINES:

Poster abstracts should be submitted online in pdf format through the webpage http://www.easychair.org/RECOMBRG06 by 11:59pm (PDT) of June 9, 2006.

Note that the acceptance of poster abstract is conditional on at least one of its authors pre-registering for RECOMB workshop electronically.

PREPARATION OF POSTER ABSTRACTS:

A poster abstract should start with a succinct statement of the problem, the results achieved, their significance and a comparison with previous work. This material should be understandable to non-specialists. A technical exposition directed to the specialist should follow. The length, excluding cover page and bibliography, should not exceed 2 pages. The abstract should be easy to read, using at least 11 point font size on U.S. standard 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper with no less than one inch margin all around.
