Career Advisory Services
Come and meet your friendly SoC Career Advisors for:
- Career consultation (e.g. uncovering your motivated skills through Knowdell Card Sort)
- Resume critique
- Mock interview.
Through NUS TalentConnect (https://nus-csm.symplicity.com/), you can book an hour appointment (including during school vacation and reading weeks) with Kwee Lee or Gregory.
Alternatively, you can consider Walk-in Tuesdays (WIT). On Tuesday afternoons (excluding public holidays), Kwee Lee and Gregory are available for walk-ins from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Each appointment is 20-minutes, held at SoC’s Career Consultation Room (COM1-01-23). As it is available on a first-come, first-served basis, you may like to book their non-Tuesday afternoon slots to avoid waiting.

Lim Kwee Lee
With 18 years of experience in IT and airline industries, Kwee Lee’s career has been adventurous; from operations, to starting up training delivery unit, and to project and programme management. She managed teams, developed the technical training business, drive initiatives in sales and marketing operations.
A NUS alumnus who was a recruiter with the public sector for 8 years, helping his former organisations to screen suitable interns and full-time staff.
Now, Gregory is back in NUS to help students discover and articulate their key interests and strengths, while exploring possible viable career pathways with them.
Personal and Career Preparation Workshops
Together with Employers and NUS Partners, CFG has a series of Career Preparation Workshops to help SoC students develop their industry awareness and hone their soft skills (e.g. personal branding, communication and networking). You can find out more through:

NUS Career Fair
The NUS Career Fair, held in January or February, is a great way for graduating students to network with over 100 employers. Meet face-to-face with company representatives from various industries during this 2-day event and learn more about a company’s culture, hiring criteria and job opportunities. If you are not commencing yet, you might even land an internship at the fair.
