Conducting Talks/Seminars

Introduction

We welcome IT employers to conduct talks and seminars for our graduating students. The purpose is to expose the students to potential employers so that they may be better prepared to enter the job market.

The seminars/talks are best held on Monday or Friday, between 4pm and 6pm from October to April of the academic year.

We welcome any IT employers to speak on any of the following broad categories of subjects:

1. Use of Computer in the Singapore economy
2. Computer products/services and the market place
3. Special topics of wider interest such as

   • Legal and social issues of computerisation

   • Security and computer audits

   • Development and trends in technology

   • Career path for computer professionals, etc.

   • Recruitment talks, specific to different company and industry needs.
