Achievements (60%)

These include the amount of work performed, complexity, quality of work, correctness, significance and usefulness of the results/end products, innovative in solution, application of technical skills and knowledge; exceptional achievements - development of new/improved hardware/software employing innovative techniques, discovery of new/improved scientific knowledge and techniques that are useful.

Documentation (20%)

This includes report organization (systematic & logical), writing style (clear & concise), accuracy of technical information, report format and others.

Poster Presentation (20%)

This includes preparing a poster, presentation of project work done, clarity and conciseness, ability to answer questions and communicate, and others.

The grades of the evaluators will be consolidated by the coordinator and a final grade will be given to each student. The detailed break down of the grade will NOT be revealed to the students.

In case there is a significant grade discrepancy among evaluators, a panel will be set up to resolve this problem. The panel may also interview the student if the need arises.

There will be a penalty if the main report exceeds the maximum length of 55 A4 pages. Five (5) marks will be deducted for every additional 10 pages or part thereof. (A complete report includes appendices, tables, figures; it should be self-contained).
