Placement Tests for Polytechnic Diploma Candidates admitted to Computing
Course
ELIGIBILITY
All polytechnic candidates who are matriculated in the academic year 2012-2013 for a course in either Computing (Computer Science courses) or Computing (Information Systems courses) .
Given your diploma, we advise you to apply to sit for the relevant Computing placement tests for modules you are not automatically exempted. Please apply to sit for the relevant one stated in the exemption policy below. The maximum modular credits that could be exempted is capped at 20 modular credits for Programme requirements.
INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CANDIDATES
Please bring along the following for the advanced placement test:
(i) your matriculation card, if any, or other supporting documents
(ii) your identity card,
(iii) a 2B pencil, and
(iv) a non-programmable calculator

TEST FORMAT
Each module paper consists of 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The time allocated to each module is 1 hour.
