A Precocious Puppets Production

LEVEE

Levee is a classic rock band that has been around in Singapore for almost two years. Inititally having kicked off as a bunch of college students looking to jam, the band has now grown into a regular act, having performed in venues such as Youth Park, Zouk, The Substation, Costa Sands Resort and The Crazy Elephant and Oosh Club at Clarke Quay.

The lineup features:
Rajesh - lead vocals, occasional guitars
  Vivek - drums and percussion
Angshu - lead guitars and vocals
Udayan - bass, guitars and pedal steel
Kartik - keyboards, violin, cello and vocals
  Turjo - rhythm guitars

The band draws its musical influences from the great acts of the 1960s and 70s, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd and The Doors and other performers of that era, and their stage setlist includes songs from these bands. Recent gigs have begun to feature the band's own original compositions more prominently as well, and what these people are best at is at rocking out loud and fast while keeping things still tuneful and catchy.
