6.824 Term Project - Amorpheus (Fall 2002)
I came up with a new idea on how routing can be done and I tried to
implement a P2P system using this new idea. Unfortunately, it didn't
quite work and so I have abandoned this idea and I'm trying out other
things. Nevertheless, I think there is some merit in the work and I
have learnt much about self-organization peer-to-peer systems in the
process. For interested readers, here is
the paper for the class. This project is based on an earlier paper in which I set out my main ideas.
Gradient Routing Simulator
For this project, we wrote a simulator. It has not been completely
debugged since I have realised that the proposed routing scheme
doesn't work right. Click here for the
current version of our simulator. you will need the Java VM 1.4 which
you can
download from
Sun.
