o    We have updated the tools page (http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~cs3215/tools/). Please have a look and start learning the recommended tools. Later in the this week, your SVN accounts on school's server will be activated. 

o    The tools lab session is scheduled on Sept. 17.  This lab session is for your team to get hands-on experience with the course tools. During the lab session, each team is expected to use course tools to complete a number of tasks given in the lab sheet. Lab instructor will provide troubleshooting help. You are expected to learn basic usage of the tools on your own, before the lab session.

o    We use a tool called ‘Auto-tester’ to test your SPA. More info about the Auto-tester will be provided on the website when you need to use it.

o    We are pleased to inform you that DR3 and DR6 can be used for team meeting except the weekly consultation time. DR3 is in basement, COM1. Usually DR3 is not locked. DR6 is in Level 6, S15. You can get the key from Yinxing. Yinxing’s lab is S15-06-16.

As agreed during yesterday lecture, our make up lectures will be 6 pm – 8 pm, not 7-9 as announced initially:

It is most important to kick off and intensify project work early in the term. Monday August 10 is Public Holiday and I will be away for conference August 24. Lectures will add extra load for you during first two weeks, but quick start will pay off in long run.

Attendance in lectures is compulsory. Please let me know early in case the above time slots fro make up lectures clash with your other courses. Please indicate the course and your name.
