Aims of the Conference
As an annual international conference in Pacific Asia region, DASFAA 2006 is an international forum for academic exchanges and technical discussions among researchers, developers and users of databases from academia, business and industry. The conference will promote research and development activities in database field among participants and their institutions from Pacific Asia and the world as well.

Submissions
Papers: Authors are Strongly encouraged to submit full regular or industrial track papers in PDF format to https://msrcmt.research.microsoft.com/DASFAA2006/ by September 24, 2005. The paper should be no longer than 15 pages, following Springer's manuscript submission guidelines, available at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.

Proposals for Tutorial/Panel: Proposals should include, in English, a half-page description and outline; names, affiliations, and biographical sketches of the speakers. Submissions should be sent to the respective chairs at ASEPLIM@ntu.edu.sg (tutorial by September 24, 2005) and krithi@cse.iitb.ac.in (panel by November 19, 2005).

Proceedings: The conference proceedings of accepted papers is planned to be published as part of Springer Verlag's Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (pending approval).
