CBA is our main data mining tool. It has been downloaded by more than 3100 people around the world. It is available based on the follows:

Academic Demo Version (Non-Commercial use): FREE (download from below)

Academic Full Version (Non-Commercial use): FREE (upon request)

It has been almost 8 months since we released the CBA v1.0 (Feb 1999). Over 400 users have downloaded this system. We have received many feedbacks from users. Based on these feedbacks and some real life applications, we have enhanced our mining engine to work better. We have finished testing our second version of CBA (CBA V2.0). In summery, here are the major improvements compared to the first version:

1) Mining with multiple minimum supports (SIGKDD'99)
2) Faster mining speed
3) A HTML viewer to help user in understanding rules
4) Better classification accuracy: After testing with 26 datasets used in our KDD-98 paper from UCI repository for Machine Learning, we achieved 15.2% of average error rate over these datasets. For these data sets, C4.5 (release 8) obtains the error rate of 16.7%, while for CBA v1.0, it is 15.8%). Click here to see the detailed results. IAS is another part of DM-II suite, which analyze the subjective interestingness of generated association rules.
