How much time does people think before they act?
I always have this doubt in my mind: How much does one think before he is able to make a move which he believes to be correct in the situation that he is in? I believe the answer to this question varies greatly from person to person with different personalities.
One with the idea "keep it safe" may never start a business of his own in his entire life, and most of the time he is the most hard-working people in the corporation - to secure his job through achievements. So he thinks hard enough to make sure everything he does fall within a small margin of risks, or not at all.
And some people does think afar, with a clear and enormous goal in his mind. He acts differently from "normal" people as he makes unpredictable moves based on pure faith and vision, and the way he solidifies their actions are as such: they focus on what they have now, and think of what they can do with those. And they make sure these things will help achieve the distant goal in one way or another. They have a vision, and they do things in line with the vision.
And what kind of people am I: I don't know, I am always trying to be the second type while my conscience keeps me on the first one. Struggling in between is no fun at all. It is essential to have a clear standard, be it weak or strong. I'll choose to be the first type now. Not until I figure out a creative way to be the second type. I'll be on the safe side.
What type are you today?

l33t programs
There are programs in the school designed specifically for the l33t students, because the school deem them as the special crowd who are able to perform well in school, both academically and industrially.
I agree on this opinion, for most part of it. Of course, most students in the school are working very hard, but due to diversity in class choosing, people might not score that well in their other classes, but they do possess the talent to shine for school. But they are working, for companies set up by themselves, or those well-know ones. And it is very difficult to reach out to that crowd, but the company pay off them well, and they are doing really great business with those great characteristics they have within. Without a doubt, if they are enrolled in programs set for l33t students, they will do even better, for they have had the knowledge, and they have done it well before. As for those top ones, they prefer doing things related to research, and those jobs do pay them off well.
Hence, here comes the controversy, those who do really well genuinely do not want to go to industry that quickly and those are not doing that well in university has established a solid foundation for their future, hand-crafted by themselves. How will you solve it?

Term of Computing Club is over
After serving in Computing Club for a whole semester, my term is over. I had an excellent year working with the people in the club. Be it local or foreign, I think all of them are great.
Unity is something I felt to my heart. The group has the unity under one leadership, achieving the goal, realizing the vision, and serving the students unreservedly.
There are a few people I felt gratitude towards, especially Yap Neng Giin - he is something! A great leader. And as well, they are great figures in the club, including Lim Jing Quan, Kong Yu Shan and Tan Shao Cong. Young blood emerged during the Freshmen orientation week. Ah Yes, there is still Dr.to be Leong Waikay - Interesting yet crazy in working and playing.
I feel somehow i should start working on this blog and continue to pump in something in my life as I did to the club for the previous semester. I hope for this coming semester, the club will work as a big family instead of a united working machine, to stand out for the students in School of Computing, and bring welfare to them.

I have a new domain name redirect
Finally, I have gotten my new domain redirect at nuscomp. It looks much cleaner and nicer. Actually I am wondering if anyone of my friends would love a name redirect or something?
And I have finally gotten my hosting company: Dreamhost. It is a fabulous place where you always get more than you need.
