The tea ceremony (chanoyu) is a unique expression of Japanese and Chinese culture that elevates the taking of tea to an art form. It employs a variety of refined objects, including hanging scrolls, flower vases, kettles, water jars, tea containers, tea scoops, tea whisks, and of course tea bowls. The harmonious arrangement and graceful use of these objects are at the heart of the tea ceremony, for this is what shows the host's appreciation for tea and feeling for beauty.

This programme will give you the opportunity to watch the tea ceremony and learn the Flower Arrangement. Also you can have an idea of the developing history of Chinese Weiqi.

Chinese cuisine is one of the greatest methods of cooking. Many elements that have influenced its development. The Chinese people enjoy eating good food at all levels of society so cooking has developed into a very sophisticated art. Confucius once said: "Eating is the utmost important thing in life."

This programme will give you the opportunity to learn how to make Chinese Dumplings. You can also taste the dumplings made by yourself. What a special experience it is!
