Generaltop

Welcome to my homepage!

I am currently a Ph.D candidate in School of Computing, National University of Singapore. I join the database research group from August 2010 and my supervisor is Professor Beng Chin Ooi.

Before I came to NUS, I obtained my BSc from Department of Computer Science and Technology of Tsinghua University China in 2010. Tsinghua University is very beautiful and I have a very happy and meaningful four-year lives there.

Researchtop

My research mainly focuses on memory hierarchy-aware query processing and currently I am working on new database algorithms design for emerging memory technologies like NVM and PCM etc.

PCM Project

I joined the PCM group as I became the student of Prof. Ooi and I did most of my research work in this project. We work on database algorithms re-design for emerging memory technologies like NVM and PCM etc. We have just submitted a paper on B+-tree index structure for NVM and we will target on a centralized map-reduce like system in the near future.

SoCial@Work

I joined the SoCial@Work project from April 2011. SoCial@Work is currently an all-in-one social networking system for students of School of Computing in NUS and it targets to make the campus life easier. Students can simply login with their NUSNET ID and start to share whatever they want with their teachers and classmates in the campus life.
