Conference Banquet

The conference banquet will be held in the evening of Tuesday, December 13, 2005. The banquet will be a beach-side BBQ at the famous Rasa Sentosa Resort located at Siloso Beach in the lovely island of Sentosa, off the southern tip of Singapore. All registrants of the conference are entitled to attend. Additional banquet tickets are also available. Please contact us for details.

At 6pm on December 13, buses will leave from the Guild House to the Rasa Sentosa resort. At the end of the banquet, there will be two busses, one going back to the hotel and another to Prince George's Residence. If you miss (voluntarily or otherwise) the returning bus, please catch a taxi. There are also busses from Sentosa back to the mainland.

As December is the rainy Monsoon season, we do have a rain-out stand-by program (also at Rasa Sentosa). At around 3pm on the day itself, a decision will be made as to whether we will go with the BBQ or the rain-out program.

A note to our Muslim friends: most of the food will be prepared in the hotel's Muslim kitchen and will not have any pork or lard. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is not certified "halal" because it serves liquor.

A note to our Jewish friends: Further to the above note, the hotel is unable to cater for strict kosher meals.

A note to vegetarians: there is enough vegetation in the menu to ensure your satisfaction.
