is not exhaustive.
Global Economics and Finance Portals including Yahoo! and Google and newspapers such as the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal provide stock, bond, commodities, and derivatives prices, exchange rates, interest rates, and other financial information. The following sources provide current and historical data.

Individual Countries A good starting point for general demographic, economic, financial, and social data of any country is the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency's World Factbook.
A comprehensive source of general demographic, economic, financial, and social data of the United States is Fedstats: One Stop Shopping for Federal Statistics. For a selection, see the Statistical Abstract of the United States. Specialized sources worth highlighting are:
Every company listed on
a U.S. stock exchange must file annual and quarterly reports with the Securities
and Exchange Commission. These reports are available through the
Commission’s
EDGAR Database.
Corporate data is also available through
Yahoo
and other financial portals.
