Singapore is pleased to announce the 7^th International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology, IWAIT’04. IWAIT aims to provide a forum to discuss the latest research, development and applications of image, video, graphics and other related technologies. It is targeting at academia, research scientists, engineers and those who are interested in the field. The previous workshops were held in: Korea (1998), Taiwan (1999), Japan (2000), Korea (2001), Taiwan (2002) and Japan (2003).

The joint conference is organized by the School  Computing, National University of Sinagpore and the School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. The conference will cover areas in image processing,  image data compression, image coding, multimedia search, networked multimedia, broadcasting, video on demand, computer vision, computer graphics, virtual reality, animation and medical application.
