IWAIT’ 2004 Presenter Information There are two types of talks - Oral or Poster Presentation. The presentation period for Oral is 20 minutes, including Q&A; and the period for presentation for Poster is strictly 2 minutes, followed by Poster display.
INSTRUCTIONS for ORAL PRESENTATION Presenting your Paper You should be present at the conference hall at least 15 minutes before your session. Please inform the Session Chair of your presence. Your presentation period is strictly less than 20minites, including Q&A. Please prepare your presentation materials for about 17 minutes and leave about 3 minutes for Q&A. Please remember to keep an eye on the Session Chair, who will give you signals on when you should conclude your presentation. Equipment Computer with projector will be available for PowerPoint presentation. Presentors may also use their own Notebooks.
"DEMO/POSTER PRESENTATION" INSTRUCTIONS: The Poster presentation will consist of two parts – a 2-minute presentation in the conference hall, follow by poster display in the exhibition area. Poster Presentation Each presentator is given up to 2 minutes to present his/her work. As timing is tight, the time limit will be strictly enforced by the Session Chair. We therefore request that you prepare up to 2 foils for the presentation. You can either: (a) pre-load your presentation in the computer before the Poster Presentation Session (we do not allow you to present using your own Notebook as there isn’t time for the switch over); or (b) make the transparencies and present using the overhead projector. Poster Display For Poster Display, we provide a poster board for each presentor with a dimension equivalent to A1 page (594mm x 841 mm). We recommend that authors print their material on standard pages which can then be taped or glued onto the poster board.
