Q1.  Please comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the module, and suggest possible improvements.
.The projects were very interesting
.Good lecturer, very good structure. The only weaknesses would be some misinformation (attendance is compulsory, which it obviously wasnt)
.It's a great module. The things taught are generally very useful to what I intend to do (robotics). The part on probability does seem rather out of place though. I think it's because there's not much time to go in depth. If more on how the concepts are used are taught, I think it would be more relevant to what we learnt in the previous lectures. But generally everything else taught is connected to each other.
.Course conducted very well.
.Weakness of the module is using the old notes and follow ONE textbook as syllabus. AI != search and logic
.The syllabus has too many things... both the lecturers and students can't cope with such a workload
.Interesting module, with interesting homework assignments to work on. More such assignments can be given.
.Quite interesting and had good practical projects
.Strengths - good range of assignment topics for us to explore. Weaknesses - level of expectation of the students is perhaps a little too high. Some of us are from the 3-Year tech Focus Stream who may not have as strong foundations as our peers from the Hons stream. Hence, sometimes we do feel overwhelmed and lost. Perhaps a better balance could be established in the following semesters that offer this module. It was, nevertheless, a good experience for learning.
.I enjoyed the module. I think the lecturer and tutor make a pretty good team. Assignments were challenging and useful to learning. I like that it involves choice on the part of the students, and material outside of the lectures.
.Very hard to relate the things learnt to lecture to the assignments.
.NAs
.none
.The lecturer is very good.
.An interesting course. Sufficient content covered to introduce us to the fundamentals of AI.
.One of the best balanced modules I have taken (in terms of workload..etc) Interesting project concept and good lectures.
.This module is very interesting. This module has given me valuable insights into the world of artificial intelligence.
.projects are too time consuming
.online course is very helpful. and the projects enable us to have a view of more advanced topics
.Certain Concepts are too abstract. Concepts taught in the class should be reinforce with lab work
.Very interesting and enjoyable. Good exposure to AI.
.The assignments are too tough for a level 3 module. Take for example on HW2 NLP, this topic is a level 4 module and for cs3243, we are given it as HW (though we are given freedom to choose the topic)
.The module teaches us some practical and relevant stuff. The projects are quite hard and time consuming.
.slighly more time for assignment 2.
.Too much algo to learn...
.Comprehensive overview of the field, quite a interesting subject
.The homework is unrelated to the course.
.Interesting, but prob HW1 is too open ended already, esp since we have just started on the course. Would be better if HW1 is given towards the end?
.The assignments, especially the first one, were quite tough. However, I think I managed to learn a lot through doing them
.This is a very interesting module.
.very basic
.Nil
.Strength: good and difficult projects Weakness: projects are not relevant to lectures
.difficult comparing to the module in the previous sems
.some abstract ideas are difficult to understand without concreat example
.give more example for this module
.The projects has not much relationship with this module
.The most interesting module i have in this semester.
.N.A
.The projects are very interesting. From the project, i've learned a lot. The level of difficulty of these project is also a bit high. But I feel it's neccessary to have such projects.
.Take a lot of time to do homework!
.the timing for midterm and projects are quite good, however 2 projects for these... :( adding workload...
.challenging.
.nice
.Very good lecturer!
