Q1.  Please comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the module, and suggest possible improvements.
.The homework assignments were fantastic, a lot fun to work with.
.none
.The 2 homework assignments are well designed, challenging, useful and highly enjoyable. The textbook is great but lectures could have more variances of materials rather than strictly following the textbook.
.Assignments given are too time-consuming. And very little assistance is provided for them. Directing students to websites that offer basic help is not going to be of much use. Although assignments are designed to be interesting but they are also challenging at the same time, and isn't this suppose to be the first course to AI? I feel it would be much better to have like biweekly lab assignments that are more manageable and help students to concentrate on a particular algorithm or subject one at a time and not lump everything into 2 huge assignments.
.It's an interesting module . However, it's hard because we must learn so many things:algorithm, logic ,uncertainty.I like the assigmensts in this module. Although it's not easy, it helps students understand the problem covers in lecture and know more new programming language: Prolog.
.Lecture materials are alot and often have to rush through the lecture. Assignments need more help especially prolog - prolog could have been gone through in more details and walk through the process of building a decent prolog program.
.Assignments are demanding and too heavy. For example, intermediate knowledge of Prolog is required. Most students are not able to do it without a proper course on Prolog. Two assignments and a mid-term are too heavy.
.Strengths: Lecturer is very accomodating. Lectures are webcast. Weaknesses: The assignments are unjustifiably time consuming. Suggestions: Reduce difficulty of assignments.
.It has very well format lecture notes and tutorial which i dont see it in most of the modules in nus. Too much ca, 2 assignments and 1 midterm for a 4 mc module is too heavy for ENGINEERING students.
.Interesting topics covered. However, do consider reducing workload as assignments are too hard (though fun). Prolog especially was hard to master in three weeks.
.Very complete and thorough coverage of the AI topics. The projects do not have enough reference or tutorial materials.
.I am satisfied with it, I think if there are some labs instead of so many projects, it will be better
.This is certainly the most interesting subject that i ever taken in NUS. I feel however having lecture at 8am is really tiring. But the good thing is that we have webcast for it.
.Very challenge ... and the programing and the theory ... hard to merge ... and apply correctly for those student like me... who not very strong programing background.
