Progressive Phasing Out of TDCS Modules (for TDP)

TDCS Modules were introduced in 1998 for SoC students in the Talent Development Programme (TDP).

With the introduction of the new University Scholars' Programme, all scholars from the School of Computing (starting from the 2001 intake) will no longer take TDCS modules. Therefore, he TDCS modules will progressively be phased out. For 2001-2002, TDCS1102 will no longer be offered since the new students will not be taking TDCS modules. The detailed time-table for this process will be as follows:

  1. TDCS Modules Available in Academic Year 2001/2002
    • TDCS2103 (for both semesters)
    • Optional: TDCS3230, TDCS3243, TDCS3251, TDCS3261 (once a year only)

  2. TDCS Modules Available in Academic Year 2002/2003
    • Optional: TDCS3230, TDCS3243, TDCS3251, TDCS3261 (once a year only)

  3. There will be no more TDCS Modules in Academic Year 2003/2004
