(Note: This guestbook was done personally.... and so would contain a lot of bugs. ;-) This is especially so since I have been well-known to "only give pseudo-code at a high level". Many of my students often strongly suspect if I actually know how to code.)

The Story behind this Page

Sometime in May 2000, I met a former student, Chu Chew Pin on a bus and got her contact (she's working in NCS, and I was going to a product-launch-and-press-conference of another student's dot-com). Then, I sent the info out to some of her classmates and somehow, one thing led to another.

Soon, I keep editing my mail alias file (I am still on unix mailers, so don't get bogged-down by 'I Love You' viruses). After some amount of editting, I decided that a Computer Science professor should be able to write a programme to do it -- and to do so on the Web -- so that's was the un-interesting story.

If you want interesting story, then you will have to come by my office for an interesting chat or you can organize a lunch/dinner to chat. Don't worry, lunch can be on me (at least until your dot-com goes into second-round funding or IPO).
