The Final Exam:
- Wed 30-April-2008; 1 PM;
- The Final Exam is OPEN BOOK / OPEN NOTES.
- ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS IN THE QUESTION BOOK.
Topics Covered:
- Everything covered in Lectures/Tutorials -- plus assigned reading.
- Includes: Turing Machines and TM programs,
- but Excludes: Computatability, and Complexity (Theory ppt [slide-24 onwards])
- Excludes: Machine Language and Translation to Machine Language ()
- Excludes: The Tourist Problem, Approximation Algorithms (Bin Packing)
- Excludes: Zero-Knowledge Proofs
- Tutorials (all problems except A-problems),
- Textbook [SG] Chapters 1-4; 5(up to 5.2.3), 7, 9.4.2, 11, 13.3, 14.
