I am currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the NUS Department of Computer Science working with Yair Zick. In May 2017, I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, where I was advised by Sanmay Das. My broad research interests are in the areas of algorithmic economics and machine learning with a special focus on the design and analysis of information aggregation mechanisms such as prediction markets. I spent the first three years of my doctoral program (Fall 2009 - Spring 2012) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the next year (Fall 2012 - Spring 2013) at Virginia Tech. Prior to joining the PhD program, I earned a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
