Hi All, I am a Research Student working in the area of Multimedia Surveillance with Prof. Mohan Kankanhalli. I am planning to submit my PhD thesis by August 2011. I completed my BE from Maharshi Arvind Institute of Engineering and Technology (MAIET) Jaipur. After that I did MTech from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (an IIT equivalent central government institute). My master thesis was on surveillance system design. Research Right now working on a joint project of NUS Singapore, UW Canada, and UCI, USA called on privacy aware surveillance. My research interests are: 1. Generic multimedia surveillance system designs 2. Analytical Modeling of Multimedia Systems. 3. Environment Model for Observation Systems. 4. Privacy Modeling for Video Data. 5. Workload Characterization for Surveillance Systems. Teaching Tutorials [1] Tutorial Co-Organizer,
