Hi All,

I am a Research Student working in the area of  Multimedia Surveillance with Prof. Mohan Kankanhalli. I am planning to submit my PhD thesis by August 2011.

I completed my BE from Maharshi Arvind Institute of Engineering and Technology (MAIET) Jaipur. After that I did MTech from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (an IIT equivalent central government institute). My master thesis was on surveillance system design.

Research

Right now working on a joint project of NUS Singapore, UW Canada, and UCI, USA called on privacy aware surveillance. My research interests are:

1. Generic multimedia surveillance system designs

2. Analytical Modeling of Multimedia Systems.

3. Environment Model for Observation Systems.

4. Privacy Modeling for Video Data.

5. Workload Characterization for Surveillance Systems.
