Instructions for the submission of final manuscripts

The proceedings for MMM'97 will be published by WORLD SCIENTIFIC in a book form. The detailed formatting instructions for preparing the complete manuscript are as follow:

• For LaTex : splread.1st, sprocl.sty & sprocl.tex . Sample
• For other wordprocessors (MS WORD preferred): please check out sprocl.ps.

Sprocl.ps is also a sample of the formatted paper.

Important Information:

The total length of your manuscript should not exceed 16 pages (including figures, tables, and bibliography). Authors will be asked to bear the extra cost (to be advised) for pages exceeding the given limit.

The proceedings book will be printed in black and white only (no color figures please).

Firm deadline and submission procedure:

By 23^rd Sep 1997 - Submit one hard-copy and one soft-copy of your final manuscript as follows:

• Softcopy - anonymous ftp your final manuscript to ftp.iscs.nus.edu.sg and put it under /pub/tmp/mmm97/camera_ready. Please use mmm97-XX as the prefix for your ftped file name (e.g. mmm97-15.ps), where XX is the paper number assigned. Your manuscript can be in LaTex (use the sprocl.sty & sprocl.tex as provided by the publisher), in Microsoft Word (must conform to the format requirement as stated in sprocl.ps) or in postscript. Please notify mmm@iscs.nus.edu.sg once you have done this.
• Formatted hardcopy - post the camera-ready manuscript together with completed (i) copyright transfer form (or postscript ) and (ii) the advanced conference registration form (or postscript ) for the speaker, (iii) speaker's biodata & audio/visual support request form (or postscript) and (iv) hotel reservation (if application) (or postscript) along with payment to ensure your paper be included in the final production of the proceedings book.

Conference Registration Fee

* Members of CGS, ACM, IEEE, SCS, MIP, staff of NUS and NTU, and members of DISCS Alumni.

+ Student registrations do not include conference dinner. Students who are conference speakers have to register under member or non-member category.

#Conference registration fee includes daily lunches, teas, conference dinner, and conference proceedings. GST will be absorbed by the conference.
