Religion has always fascinated me. Born a Hindu, the devotion of my mother and aunt helped me develop a love for God. But it was without understanding. As I grew up, I tried to read the holy books, particularly the Bhagavad Gita. I visited temples, churches in Gangtok, the monastries of Sikkim and Singapore and mosques in Malaysia. The Art of Living foundation and Iskcon have had tremendouos influences on me. Prominent personalities whose lives and examples have had great impact on me are Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Vivekananda.
