The Gate in the Dark

Painted this in two sittings on 20-21 Feb, 2007. Have used only three colours - burnt sienna, prussian blue and sap green. Among my fastest paintings (total painting time about 3 hours). The size of the painting is 9.1" x 13" (the image above has been cropped from the right).

The scene, as mentioned in the original (a much more patient work), should be from Taxco Guerrero, Mexico.
