He is an Asst. Prof. at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. He teaches an introductory programming course for freshmen, as well as a graduate course in multimedia. For research, he works primarily in these areas: face recognition, biometrics, and digital photography. He is also interested in computer vision problems in general.
She got her Bachelor degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, 2002. Her research interests are in image processing and computer vision, in particular, digital photograph enhancement and near infra-red photography.
Zhang Xiaopeng received B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2000. Now he is pursuing PhD degree under supervision of Dr. Terence Sim. His research interests mainly focus on deblurring in digital photography.
He got his Bachelor degree from Fudan University, China in 2005. He is now a postgraduate student under supervision of Dr. Terrence Sim. Currently, his research topic is specular highlights and shadow detection and removal in computational photography.
Ha Mai Lan is currently a Ph.D candidate at NUS under the supervision of Assistant Professor Terence Sim. She is working in photography area. She obtained her Master of Science from Singapore-MIT Alliance (SMA) program at NUS in 2004. She received her Bachelor of Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in Vietnam 2003. Her research interest is digital photography and vision in general.
