About PRIS and its mission

PRIS is a project funded by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Singapore. Its objective is to explore the huge potential of Intelligent Systems and Soft-Computing methodologies in various applications. For more information about PRIS, click here.

Soft Computing Guidebook - The Soft-Computing Guidebook is a Web-based resource which describes, explains, compares, and illustrates using demo applets, the major techniques in Soft-Computing
Rule-Extraction from Neural Networks - The ExtraKt Project is a hybrid system that integrates knowledge from experts that is encoded in a rule-based system, and information from live data that is extracted from trained neural networks
STEP into e-Space - Project STEP-W, for "Smart Text Processing on the Web", develops techniques for retrieval, classification, summarization, and extraction of Web-based text information
Video Stratification Model - Project STRATA is a production system that supports indexing and management of video streams based on an object-based stratification model
