I will first describe the abstraction of causality error in optimistic PDES, followed by the derivation of rollback probability. This part of the talk will be purely mathematical. Next I will summarize the existing memory management strategies, and explain how rollback probability can be applied to memory management. A few variations will be explored for implementation.
