Roland Yap is an associate professor in the School of Computing of the National University of Singapore. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Before joining the National University of Singapore, he was an Australian Research Council research fellow at the University of Melbourne. Prior to that he has been a visiting scientist at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York.
