S. Sathish is currently a PhD candidate and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Information Systems of the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his B.Comp (2nd Class Upper Honors) in Information Systems in 2001 and his MSc. in Information Systems in 2004 from NUS.

His primary research focuses on the implementation of organization-wide integrated systems (Enterprise Systems), with particular emphasis on the challenge of facilitating the fit between the organizational functionality, Enterprise System package features and the the diverse internal and external stakeholders who are relevant to the implementation of such systems. Specifically, he in interested in the processual nature of the facilitation of this fit during the course of an Enterprise System implementation. His supervisor for his PhD is Assistant Professor Pan Shan Ling.

His research work has been published in the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AMM), Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) and Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS). He has also co-authored a book on Information Systems Applications and has written a chapter for a case book on Managing Strategic Enterprise Systems and E- Government Initiatives in Asia.

He has served as an ad-hoc reviewer for journals such as the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS) and International Journal of Electronic Business (IJEB), and conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AMM), Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), and Information Resources Management Association International Conference (IRMA).

He is currently a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
