Max graduated with Masters in Science (Computing) from the National University of Singapore in December 2010 under the supervision of Associate Prof Hon Wai Leong (SoC, NUS). Max was working on development efficient algorithms for protein sequencing and visualization tools for peptide MS/MS spectra.
Outside of research, Max is interested in development using various programming languages across different platforms. He has coded extensively using Java (Spring - Hibernate framework, writing portlets, on Google Web Toolkit), and have worked on commercial applications using C# and VB.NET. Lately he has also been developing games on iPhone using Objective C.
Max likes teaching and communicating with his students and, is not really comfortable talking about himself from a third person's perspective such as this.
