Dr. Tan received his Bachelor's degree from Nanyang University, Singapore in
1980, M.Sc and Ph.D. from Essex University in 1984 and 1989 respectively.
His research interests include Multimedia Computer-based Tutoring System,
Artificial Intelligence and Chinese Computing.
