I have received a few comments and suggestions from senior students, summarised below. To better understand the objective of this preparatory course, readers are adviced to read the Preface first. Of course, if the objective is inadequate or misguided, I can adjust it.

Please continue to send your feedback to me. Your kind act will be very much appreciated, on behalf of the freshmen. Of course, what I mean by kind act is your generous sharing, not kind words and praises for me. Nobody likes criticism, sure, but if that can bring about improvements, I think swallowing our pride is just a small price to pay for betterment.

Through the feedback, I have also come to know of other resources which I was not aware of. This is great, isn't it?

Of course, we did not forget about those taking the course right now. A survey was conducted in the beginning of the course, and another will be conducted towards the end, and hopefully from there I will be able to better gauge the expectation of the students, and do it better next time round.

• To include information on how to set up the home computer system for accessing from home.
  As these are usually covered in other resources such as the Survival Guides produced by Computing Club and Computer Engineering senior, I would prefer not to duplicate too much of the materials. Perhaps a better alternative is to ensure that these Guides are made available to this group of students, and the course can then directs the students to refer to these documents.
• Getting counsellors to meet these students.
  This could be arranged. But before that, I have to find out if the university has already such a programme for this group of students.
• Focus on students who know nothing about computers, and provide glossary of computing terms, and introduction to computer systems.
  Even within the group now, there are students with some background in computer and programming, and others without. But including the above information should not be much of a problem.
