Light Verb Constructions

A light verb construction is a verb-complement pair in which the verb has little lexical meaning (is "light"), and much of its semantic content is obtained from the complement.

Demonstration

The demonstration allows one to enter a verb-object pair and the system will determine whether it is a light verb construction. One can also choose to enter a sentence and the system can identify whether the sentence contains any light verb constructions.

Annotations

The following contain the annotations that are used in our experiments on light verb constructions. The annotations is free for use for any purpose.
