Down The Road



Yesterday

was those days, together
with shared stories, tears, and laughter;
packing moments into memories,
off to chase eternity

We've been fighting all along.


Today,

is this road, leading
to the heavens, clouds and beyond
while we exchange smiles and well-wishes,
building towers of our own
of which sky

is not the limit.


Tomorrow

will be there, waiting
as we hold fast to the final glory
still, with love lingering,
friends are we, and always shall be --

We are never fighting alone.
